But congrats to our friends Jeanne and Jerry who recently gave birth to twins-Jacob and Katie. They are so beautiful and sweet. Mom and Dad and big brother Nick are all doing fine--very happy and content.
Congrats to Dean and Becky who are, as we speak, in Beijing and are scheduled to receive their daughter, Paisley, on Monday July 30th in Changsha! We are so excited and happy for them:)
Also, a big congrats to Traci and Chris who received their referral for Aimee Li Hua on July 6, and their TA (travel approval) today! They can now book their flights and get packed--Aug. 16th is around the corner. The funny thing is that I know that Traci has packed and repacked several times already. Lol.
Steve and I have been working on adoption things, which is really refreshing. It makes us feel like we are progressing and gives us something to do. We applied for our visas and our agency asked for our updated 171H. Hmmmm...it seems like things are moving along.
Another batch of referrals is expected in the next week or so, but there has been no news of any cut-off dates yet (lots of conjecture in the Rumor Queen world). We could potentially get our referral in this batch, but I am trying to protect myself and say that we will get ours in Sept. Any which way, we are very close--no more than 6 weeks from seeing Gracie!
